How far along: 20 weeks 3 days
Total weight gain: +19.6 lbs (+2.2 lbs from last week)
–> Gain probably has something to do with eating 4 donuts for National Donut Day last week. Oops.
How big is Baby Osborn: size of a banana (via Baby Center**)
Sleep: daily afternoon naps, interrupted night sleep b/c I have to pee and having weird dreams!
Movement: YES! It’s getting stronger everyday (esp in the morning when I wake up!) and it’s moved from below my belly button to slightly above. Hopefully that means I’ll get a real “bump” soon!
Food cravings: Minute Maid light lemonade
Symptoms: no morning sickness (yay!), fatigue (but getting milder), gassy (tmi?)
Activity: Running and walking dog
Best moment last week: Todd was gone for a WHOLE week (5/31-6/8) to grade APUSH tests in Louisville and when he came home he showed me a little mini bat he had bought from the Louisville Slugger factory for Baby Osborn. He said “We can put it in the nursery.” It was so adorable.
** You may wonder why you’re seeing two length measurements this week. Until 20 weeks of pregnancy, babies are measured from the top of their head to their “bottom.” That’s because their legs are curled up against their torso during the first half of pregnancy, so they’re hard to measure. Starting next week, you’ll see only the head-to-heel measurement.
